Setting the GPS to "Avoid Freeways," I drove from the Easternmost point of Texas (Louisiana border) to the Northernmost point of Texas (Oklahoma border) to the Westernmost point of Texas (New Mexico border) to the Southernmost point of Texas (Mexico border). Stopping every 50th mile (more or less) to take a photo of whatever was around me, the goal of the trip was to make a photo-documentary of the journey demonstrating the vastness and geographic variety of my birth state.
